I'm R&D engineer and currently using F3D for my research project.

it's not so difficult to make good aerodynamics simulations for cars or other objects.
I'm sure that if you'll contact the FlowScience support they'll can give you good suggestions on how to do it. You'll see that results will be almost perfect.
