Hi, I have kown how to set wave boundary and add current velocity. But when I run simulation, the current velocity that I have setted is disappeared. And the result does not concluded the influence induced by current.

However, if I set current velocity in specified velocity, the result will be affected.

My problem is that the result with current is not stabilized. If the current is positive, the free surface elevation is obvious exceeding the setting value. If the current is negative, the free surface elevation is obvious under the setting value.

Could you tell me how to set current?

Thanks

Flow 3d provides users 10 boundaries. the wave boundary just induces wave merely, but the wave can be any kind of waves provided or affected by current.if you employ wave boundary, no velocity can be added in such boundary.
if you want the current and wave enter the computational domain, perhaps you can use wave boundary and source( simulate the entrance of current).

Sorry, I'm a newcomer. Could you detailedly tell me what is wave boundary and source? Whether or not you mean that let me set a wave boundary and add a source file.
By the way, I saw your last name is sjtu. Do you study in Shanghai Jiaotong Univercity? My major is geotechincal engineering and I am a graduate student in Shanghai Jiaotong Univercity. If you are a sjtuer, can I contact with you. My telephone is 15121131308.
Thank you once again.
