mesh about flow-3d

Dear sir,
As we know, the mesh of flow-3d is diffirent from fluent. cfx,star-cd.
The mesh of fluent need to be refined in near wall when consider the
turbulent model of low reynold number. I want to know whether the flow-3d also need to do. In addtion, I also want ot know why the flow-3d have
not k-w model. Since the k-w also is classics two equation model.

Best regards

yuan

a difficult question

No flow-3d man can answer this question?

I am not sure that k-w model is better than k-e. Actually I am using RNG k-e model generally. It depends on the problem.

Yes, in Flow-3D you need to refine the mesh near the wall for low reynolds number simulations.:)

why we need to refine the mesh near the wall for low reynolds number simulations?

Hi~
To resolve the boundary layer one would need to refine the mesh.
