Hi All
would like to know if anyone tried to run surface tension, laminar flow problem with more than 8 CPU cores with SMP? Any significant scaling beyond 8 cores? Thanks |

not with 8+ cores with SMP. MPI - yes, it's been done.

no, the smp performance in 9.4 has not been greatly improved. the plans are to invest in it for the following release to go to 8-16 cores and take advantage of the i7 architecture.
