Hi,

I have some questions about how flow 3D interpolate the solid.
Indeed, if I mesh a square with four fixed points in each corner, and then click on the FAVOR, button I can see that the corners of my square are cut. How can we explain that ?
Then, I tried to preprocess, and I can see in the display window that the corners of my square are well computed. So, my question is: How flow 3D do the interpolation, where can I see the real interpolation used by the software?

Thanks for your attention.

Dear Ben, IMHOthat's visualization problem. Actually I don't care about that.
If you need your topo (for example) enable SOLID in analize>3D radio point "Solid".

Regards.

Hi Ben-Bourget,

2d sections of the geometry in Analyze, say after pre-processing the input, are more precise than the 3d plots. If in doubt, I would use the 2d sectioning in different planes to see how the geometry was captured (or not) by the mesh.
