BC for pipe that connecte to the pump

Dear experts
I want to simulate a pipe that connected to a pump. the water in pump is not impotant for me. I want to model the pipe only. Can I use the pressure B.C. for boundary that water remove the computational domain, from the pipe to pump? can I use the minus pressure(P<0) at this boundary? do i use the stagnation pressure or static pressure?

Regards

Ati,

Yes, you can use a pressure BC at the outlet, including a negative pressure. For consistency, you should use either fixed static pressure at both inlet and outlet, or have a flow rate defined at one boundary and static pressure at the other.
