Hi All!

I wish to give heat transfer coefficient as a function of time(for modeling squeeze casting process)...and I was thinking of using customization file...the tutorial(in flow 3d help) seems to be quite confusing...I am not very clear about the way to proceed ...
If some example customization files are provided along with the the list of variables that can be accessed and modified along the ways to call them it would be very beneficial.

Atul,

You need to modify the function HOBS1CL where the metal/mold heat transfer coefficient is calculated. The variable that stores time is 't'. It is available from the common block CNTRL which is included in the function.

That kind of modification is quite straight forward. You will need Intel FORTRAN compiler version 9.1 to compile the changes.
