how to set an electric field in flow3d?

Help! I'm building a model for inkjet electrospraying, but the electric field confuses me. Is it set by the potential in obstacles or boundaries? Can i set it by defining the E of the e-field in the input file?
Thank you! My flow3d version is flow3d 9.3.2.:)

You are right, the field is defined in FLOW-3D by setting foxed potentials at components and mesh boundaries. There is no other way to impose an external field in FLOW-3D.
