very small time step in GMO model

Hi,
I am modeling a rotating part (using GMO) at an rpm of 1200 with a viscous material of 10000 cps. I get a time step of 1e-8/1e-9s, while the time step for courant number to be equal to 1 is approx. 1e-3. What are the contributing factors for a very low time step in GMO model? How can I reduce the time step?

What's the code for the stability limit on the time step? 'vs' or 'cx', 'cy', 'cz'?
