Hi all,

I am working on a case study- oil , gas water separator ( 3 phase flow).
Getting convergence problem with continuity residual.
can any1 help me ?
Using pressure based , eulerian model with energy equation.

Thanks in advance

Hi,

Once check all the values that are been defined to boundary conditions.

hi,

boundary conditions are fine. even I am getting the results . But residuals are not converging. All my contour plots are matching with the case study results. But how to reach the convergence ?

Have you explored if the flow is steady or transient?

Try coupled solver and reduce all relaxation factors & Courant number until solution converges.

Multphase problems are tricky to model and often transient - especially when Eulerian models are used. Are you running steady or transient?
