windguy is on a distinguished road
Hello,

As a student project, I need to model the break of a wave. Thus I use a small domain with periodic condition on the inlet (so that the wave comes out and in the domain) with a strongly detailed mesh.

As I want to concentrate only on the break (and not its generation), I wish to have as initial condition, a wave already formed, ready to break with the right camber.

I've already tried with a "rectangular wave" and it does work but I would like to go further and have a more realistic model.

Could you help me to create this very specific form of interface between water and air ?

Thanks a lot for any advise you could give me.
Best regards
