Hello all,

I am working on Oil/Gas 2 phase separators. I know only mass flow rate of oil at inlet. Therefore, I assumed mass flow rate of gas and performed a analysis.

Can any1 help me in determining the pressure at both the outlets ? what pressure should be given ? and on what factors should i assume pressure's at outlets.


secondly, when my primary phase mass flow rate at inlet is more more than secondary phase mass flow rate, im getting divergence in AMG solver. I tried by playing with URF's. But could not cross the error.

oil mass flow rate (inlet) = 0.013 kg/sec

Using mixture model, steady state, standard K epsilon, 2 phase

Any help would be greatly appreciate.
