Increasing particles splashed-planes injecting particles/setting the correct flowrate

Dear all,

I would like to know if there can be any particles-splashed increase somehow apart from introducing more surfaces (for my case) in DPM.I increased the surfaces releasing particles, from 1 to 4 in order to get more particles released and consequently more particles splashed but it seems like there is a limit on the latter but not on the former. Is there any way of doing so without changing the mesh?Or maybe there is a way of producing similar result as in increasing the parts in which the initial particles break or something like that?I have already calculated the continuous flow (airflow) over a wing with pretty good results and the next step is to simulate multiphase flow (air+rain drops) and to compare those results for certain angles of attack. So is it possible to get bad results with the same mesh, which did ok in the first place,in the multiphase flow if the splashed particles are limited?

PS:I only have splashed particles and a couple of shed particles during the simulation and i assume that it is the splashed ones that are the important ones in here.

Oh and something else. What is the value i should use in total flow rate when im having plane(s) injecting particles?Should it be LWC(liquid water content)*Vx(mainstream velocity) or LWC*Vx*A(of the plane or multiplied by the number of planes i use)??And finally,do i get better results if i increase the number of planes i release the particles from(and/or the number of splashed particles)?By increasing number of planes I mean that the planes will be on top of each other, namely, same position and surface area.

Thanks in advance
