Hello everyone,
Thank you in advance for your help and time. I am running an Eulerian multi-phase model for a mixing tank in Fluent using multiple reference frame with the following information: Meshing: Polyhedra Quality (min orthogonality 0.4, max aspect ratio 25 and mas skewness 0.6) Solver: Steady-state Coupled (Pseudo transient and wrapped-faced gradient correction were activated) Second-order upwind for momentum First order for others PRESTO! for pressure population balance model: a discrete formulation with 10 bins but I am unable to get a good convergence for my run as shown in the attached pic. I used different under-relaxation factors and tested other mesh types including tetrahedral and poly-hexcore (with different sizes); I also used PC-SIMPLE scheme; however, I am still getting similar results as shown in the attached pic above. I also set up the Eulerian multiphase calculation as usual, but compute the flow for only water (the primary phase) by deselecting Volume Fraction and Bins in the Equations list, but it did not worked. It is much appreciated if someone could please help me! Thanks a bunch Last edited by Max30; January 8, 2023 at 07:49. Reason: Edit |
