ARI7862 is on a distinguished road
Hi all,

I am a postgraduate student and am struggling very badly to get a converged solution through pressure inlet- pressure outlet B.C.

I am trying to simulate the horizontal flow of water (primary phase) and air (secondary phase) in an ejector. My geometry has two inlets (inlet 1: through which high pressure water is supplied, inlet 2: through which air at atmospheric pressure is entrained) and 1 outlet, which is open to atmosphere. I am doing a 2d axi-symmetric, steady state simulation in FLUENT.

B.C are as follows:
Inlet 1: velocity inlet (water velocity 2m/s, air velocity=0, air volume fraction=0)
Inlet 2: pressure inlet (gauge pressure of mixture=0 pascal, volume fraction of air=1)
outlet: pressure outlet (gauge pressure of mixture=0 pascal)

I am using pressure based solver, algebric slip mixture model, standard k-e turbulence model with standard wall functions and 5% turbulence, pressure-velocity coupling SIMPLE and URF's of pressure, momentum are 0.2 and for slip, vol. fraction,TKE, TDR =0.1.

i am using a structured mesh with 53000 nodes having minimum orthogonal quality of 0.77 and max. aspect ratio of 4.9.

I am facing convergence problem. my solution is diverging. please help me out in solving this problem with pressure inlet (air) and outlet B.C's.

CFD experts please help me, its very urgent:

Thanx in advance...
