rameshcfd is on a distinguished road
Hi I have used Ansys fluent to analyze the
centrifuge casting[ it is a method in which it
produces solid cylinders opposite to centrifugal
casting]. Here i used a simple jar which is kept at vertical
and the molten metal is poured at the velocity of
0.01 to the inlet. and i used transient state,
meshing having good quality about .001
skewness. Solution method SIMPLE is used and all other
parameters at second order [energy, turbulence..]
and also i given a 200rpm of rotation to the jar. The problem is when i run the calculation for
Time-step .001 for fixed time,
i got results of solidification for .01 seconds but
as i increased the time the solidification is not
happening, it shows more fractions of liquid in
the Jar.
Please help me here
