2d axisymmetric simulation of supersonic jet on liquid surface using VOF model

Hello

I'm trying to simulate(2D-axisymmetric transient state) the injection of oxygen at supersonic speed from a top lance in a steelmaking converter of height 1.45m and width .575m using VOF model of ANSYS Fluent 15.0. I'm only considering the slag phase which is at 0.8m below the nozzle exit. The diameter of the nozzle exit is 0.01m and oxygen is released at a supersonic speed of 2.1 Mach no. and at a inlet pressure of 896320Pa on to the slag surface. The axis of symmetry for the simulation is X-axis.

I want to see the change in the slag-converter interface by the oxygen impingement, but when i simulate my model the jet doesnt reach the interface and no curvature is observed at the same.

Setup details: Multiphase flow-VOF Model (Explicit scheme) with 3 fluids(air, slag and oxygen) standard k-epsilon turbulence model with standard wall functions.

BCs: For velocity-inlet: v=714m/s and P=896320Pa
For pressure-outlet: P=100000Pa

Operating Condition: x=0, y=.01, P=101325Pa

Relaxation factors: P=0.1, Momentum-0.6, turbulent KE=0.4, turbulent dissipation rate=0.4

Standard initialization from all zones and I've also patched the zones corresponding to air and slag as shown in the attached geometry. I've used variable time stepping method with a min time step of 1e-05.

I've attached the image of my geometry and also the simulated result for velocity contours.

I' completely new to ANSYS, so please help me sort my problem out.
