I am trying to measure the two-phase flow pressure drop in a helical coil as a function of the coil geometry and the flow properties such as the velocity.

Therefore, I would like to question the use of the Operating Pressure (Operating Conditions tab) in Fluent. Hence, if we specify the inlet velocity and the outlet gauge pressure, what about the Operating Pressure? Should this be equal to the outlet gauge pressure plus the atmospheric pressure? Thanks in advance for your assistance!

Many thanks for your prompt reply! However, things are still not 100% clear. I have an experimental measurement of the total system pressure at the flow line of a helical coil of 201325 Pa (Gauge). Hence I used this as the pressure spec on the pressure outlet. I need to calculate the initial pressure and hence deduct the total flow pressure drop between the inlet and the outlet. Therefore, if a specify an operating pressure of 30125Pa (Absolute) would this work
?

per my understanding that should work as your measured pressure is the pressure drop, which is irrespective of inlet and outlet pressure magnitude.. you could try nevertheless..
