Hi
I am using a cluster for a DPM simulation. The particle data file which is written increases in size after every time step (which i suppose means that it is being updated correctly) but by the time the simulation finishes and a data file is written for some reason the particle data file only gives the particle data for the last time step and reduces in size from (100s of KB) to a few KB.
I was using the same setup before and all was good (i got the particle tracks for the whole simulation not just the last time step). Wondering if it has got to do something with the particle data file size? If I do a few timesteps (eg. 100) the particle file is OK but doing it for (eg 1000) timesteps it resets at some point which I dont know since I cannot keep an eye on the file for (8-10) hours which the simulation normally takes.
