Dear all
i am trying to model phase change from liquid to vapour .i am getting the phase change but temperature of liquid is not changing, but in actual practice it should decrease since latent heat is released from the liquid. what is the udf for this type of problem/or is there any other method to deal this problem

can anybody help me really i will be very grateful.

thanks

Phase change occurs at constant temperature and heat will be added to liquid phase (not released) ,am I right? if system goes down to low temperature limits , means some sensible heat loss occured. I dont knw abt udf's but may be you should check your conditions set for system again. I am also dealing with phase change but in cfx not in fluent.
cheers

Dear sir thanks for your guidance
my problem is adiabatic no heat source is there, and phase change is only due to drop in pressure below its saturation pressure.
