Hello,
First of all, I have to say that I´m totally new to UDF- programming. I´ve read several threads about this topic, but didn´t find anything suitable. My problem is as follows. I want to calculate the heat transfer coefficient between a condenser wall (with fixed temperature) and the surrounding water. My plan for writing my own udf is: read the specific heat flux q'' and temperature at the adjacent wall and read a characteristic fluid temperature somewhere near this wall. Then I would calculate the corresponding heat transfer coefficient for each cell. Following I would like to display the calculated results in a contour plot or something similar. I think this would be possible with a udm?! Attached you can see my geometry. It is a cyclic periodic 3D mesh. If somebody could be so nice and give me a small hint, how to do this, I would appreciate it very much. Thanks in Advance, christoph |
