Hello

As seen in the sketch it is a tube (axisymmetric) with a constant pressure inlet (green on the left) and a nozzle on the right end.

In the middle section of this tube a piezo is mounted which will deform the tube wall radially (sketched in purple). This deformation takes place with a frequency of 6000 Hz.

I would like to analyze the impact onto the fluid due to this tube wall deformation. Primary interest would be the pressure wave generation.

Since I have never worked with dynamic meshes or UDF I would like to ask how such a udf would have to be written to deform the geometry at the given section.

I tried it by applying a velocity to the dashed wall section, but this does not lead to a deformation of the wall. It leads to a pressure generation.

I really would like to model the wall deformation, which will compress the fluid inside the tube.

(the fluid should flow from left to right, since the pressure at the outlet is 0 Pa and at the inlet around 80000 Pa )

It is also a multiphase problem. The outlet region is filled with air, the inlet region is water (liquid).
