kcgmech is on a distinguished road
I try to simulate tig welding in fluent. when i do the simulation using 2D model, the induced temperature on top surface reached close to 4500K. but it is not the realistic value compared to published article. i took material property of 304 stainless steel, current 200A, voltage 14. how to trouble shoot this ? published articles reported the peak temperature of 2500K max. melting point is 1723K.

pakk will become famous soon enough
Try to find the reason for the difference.

Think about what could cause a difference. Think about what you can check. Eliminate things. Find out more. Do research...

If you are a research scholar, then surely you must have done some investigation before in your career? This does not sound like a Fluent question, but more like a "how should I do my job" question...
