UDF code for condensation

Hello! Does anybody has a udf code for condensation? I need udf code for source term of Volume Fraction Equation. This equation is at here. " http://gong.snu.ac.kr/down/on-line-d...ug/node681.htm " I will thanks to any kind of help.

Re: UDF code for condensation

Hi sorry for distrubing! I think I have the same problem to do with you! My project is to simulate the process of condensation on a cold free surface! For I am a newer Fluent user, so can you give me some suggestion or help for me to do this project! Thanks for your help!

Re: UDF code for condensation

well, modeling condensation involves dealing with two phases - condensed liquid and yet to condense vapor.

you will have to write with a UDF to deal with conversion of vapor into liquid -- function of vapor pressure and temperature etc. I think the conversion back from the liquid to vapor will be some source term at the point -- at the same time you need to make sure that you take out same kg/sec out of the condensate -- I dont know of any already written code -- but I am also trying to play around with this problem -- I will let you know if I suceed.
