Hello,

I have UDF + scheme file for coal devolatilization, combustion, and gasification. I use the discrete phase model in Fluent. Within the define injections panel you will see to the right an option to hook custom laws to your particles. This is where you connect your gasification law to the Fluent solver. Someone else wrote the UDF (it is over 1500 lines) so I am not too comfortable with the physical models/kinetic rate parameters employed, but I am learning fast. I would like to correspond with you on this because we share the same problem.

Hello

I am Ali, PhD student in university of Alberta and I'm working on coal gasificastion. Now I've faced problem writing udf specially for multiple reaction. Can you please send me UDF sample for coal gasification.

Regards
Ali

Hi to all,

I am also quite interested in obtaining this UDF sample since it would help me greatly in defining functions and making the DPM switches work within Fluent.

Cheers!

Hello, I a master student from China I also have the UDF which is more than 1500 lines, but I believe that the code is used for parallel calculating.

Hej Anawana,
If you want I would like to share experiences on the specifics of using UDFs for gasification.
You can send me a mail at ian.maes087@gmail.com if you're interested.

Kind regards,

Ian

Hello, i m currently doing simulation on biomass gasification too. I just found out that Ansys Fluent does not have the feature to include all the reaction and UDF is needed. Any kind soul is able to provide me with some example of UDF for the biomass reaction will be greatly appreciated. Thanks very much in advance. My e-mail will be taengoohou@gmail.com

Hi, have you got the udf?
my research is about oxy-coal combustion. i also need to wirte a udf for the char combustion. If possible, could you send me a copy? a very original one is also OK.

Many thanks. My email is yangxin0412@gmail.com
