Modelling filter cake growing with UDF?
I have to simulate the growing of filter cake over porous volume ( the filter itself), for the beginning incompressible, later also compressible cake. I dont know how to start solving the problem. According the Happel cell model I can devide the domain into i=1 .. n layers, assign with the volumegrowth over time the pressuredrop and finaly the single height. There are so many physical variables and paramethers in these theories and I am not so familiar with the all UDF Operators and functions. At the end I need to define the viscous resistanse into this cake as function of porosity. Any ideas?
