macro for accessing particle thermal conductivity

Hi,

In solving a spray problem, I need to change the particle's thermal conductivity during the calculation. I tried to do this through a udf, but I couldn't find the macro for accessing this property in the UDF manual (I assume it would be something like P_Thermal_Conductivity(p), or DPM_Thermal_conductivity(p)).

Does anybody know this macro, or, could you please tell me whether this is the right way to do it?

Thanks a lot.

Hi,
I think you can manage with DEFINE_PROPERTY macro and assign it to the discrete phase material in the material window.

Thanks for your reply, Krishna. But with DEFINE_DPM_PROPERTY, I need to hook it to the material panel manually, but what I want to do is to change this particle property during the run. Any ideas? thank you!

do you find your answer ?

Hi
I am looking for a suitable macro for effective conductivity in dpm approach. if you solve your problem, pls help me.
thank you
