please please help in compiling UDF....
hi everyone...
can someone help me in resolving this error while compling UDF.. Error: open_udf_library : The system can not find the file specified. Error object: () and "nmake" is not recognized as an internal or external command. Regards, usman |
please check that the libudf folder is in the same directory as you case/dat files. if it isnt then specify an exact directory when loading the libudf. If the folder is in the correct directory...then check your UDF has actually compiled, all of this is in the udf manual...

hello
i have the same problem however the udf file was saved in the same directory. i have installed c++ but the same msg is chown, waht ti do, help plzz thankx |
make sure you are loading fluent from the visual studio command prompt.
eg. go to start/programs/visual studio/visual studio tools/visual studio command prompt type in fluent 3ddp or fluent 2ddp...or whatever type of fluent solver you want to load. you might also have to set your environment variables, if you havent already done so. i strongly recommend u download the FLUENT UDF manual, everything you need to do, in order to succesfully compile is all explained there...otherwise, please search in the cfd online forum. ule find answers in many places |
thank uuuuuuu.....
