Smooth a mesh with UDF

Hi there.
I'm trying to automate the analysis processing in Fluent because I have to make a lot of analysis. For this reason I'm working with a journal file.

The problem is that each problem has its own mesh. If I want to smooth the mesh before running the analysis, it's not always the same. I mean, each mesh is different, so the smooth process will be differente as well.

So I was thinking about using the UDF tool, in order to do that.

What do you think? Is it possible?

Thank you very much

Not with udf

Hello Acoidan,
I'm not aware of any documented way to call this kind of functions (smooth-mesh) from a udf.
However, fluent has an implementation of a fully capable programming language called scheme that you can use instead of C. Check this on wiki: Fluent Environment
