Hi ,all
I want to get velocity in some specific positions in flow field, these positions are in a line. The average velocity value of the positions are what we need. I don not know how to get it by UDF.Can anynone give me some suggestion. Thanks in advance.

hi,

I am not sure about the UDF part, in general you can create a line (2D) or face (3D) in the surface menu of fluent. you can put such lines/faces everywhere in you domain and then plot or write the data from the plot menu.

i think you can also write profile files from within fluent and average the values afterwards.
