Density based solver, Chemkin, Stiff combustion

Hi all,

I'm trying to simulate a model with Fluent V12. It a rectangular channel with both gas phase and surface reactions. I used a pressure based solver with Chemkin, when I increase the inlet velocity, the contours start to get wavy and unsteady.
So since apparently there is no "stiff chemistry solver" available if u use Chemkin, the only option that I have is using density based solver. But when I switch to that, reaction stops happening! There is no place for chemkin input in that!!

Please help me know what can I do? Is using density based software a correct decision?

Mike
