Streamline help needed! (diagram attached)

Hi all,

I am currently doing a simulation of jet fan systems in an underground parking lot. The idea is to generate a flow profile. However, this is what I got:

The streamline does not 'exit' the fans as predicted and they only stay within the fans themselves. Any idea why this is the case?

Hi,

Did you release the 'particles' from your inlet?

in the geometry tab you choose start from: and then your inlets
and if the streamlines are too short, you should increase limits in the limits tab

Thanks for the swift reply zbyhu, I have already selected the inlets, and that results from the diagram was what I got... Any idea where the problem might be?

It's right there in CFD-Post, when you set choose to set streamlines. On the left.

Could you maybe post a higher resolution screenshot? Can't figure much from that one..

Alright hang on mate, just gotta let it finish rendering (changed a few settings), see if that works..

Here it is: As you can see, the streamlines don't 'exit' the fan into the environment, which is really bugging me
