open water flow

Hey guys,
Does anyone know of any links that show how to model free surface flow with FLUENT....such as sloshing in tanks or open channel flows? I know it can be done with VOF and there are many threads here that are helpful.

One question, when building the model, do I have to separate the air and water region? For example, a cubic tank half filled with water. Do i have to break the cube into two separate regions?

Only give the height of water surface at the inlet and the solver will develop the interface between air and water within the tank
