turbulence in air inside solar cooker?

i am validating the result through FLUENT of solar cooker and now stuck in a problem.in solar cooker, the inside air tends to turbulence flow?? as there is no flow of inside air so what model should be used in that case?

how can there be turbulent flow without flow?

I think you meant that there is no forced convective flows, there can still be free/natural convection (and this can be turbulent). Is this the case?

yeah..this is what i want to say??? so it should be turbulent or what???

there isn't any limitation it is definitely possible.

Did you not do the estimation to show that the boundary layer tends to the turbulent regime? What's your Rayleigh number?

Also, it sounds like you have already run the simulation once. So you ran it with laminar or what model?
