I want to make my mesh coarser using grid adaptation. I cant do this when I go to register cells, click on coarse and then click Mark button, Fluent says
1234 number of cells for refinement 0 marked for coarsening. Why is it so ? Regards, |

0 cells met your coarsening criteria that you specified.

didn't get your point. I specified the range of cells for coarsening then it should merge two or more cells to make it coarse.

exactly, you specified 1234 cells but that's not a criteria for marking which cells need refinement/coarsening. 0 cells were marked means exactly that, 0 cells were met the threshold value for grid adaption.
