Mesh grids suitable for NIST real-gas model

Hi,
I'm actually analyzinf the transcritical behaviour of methane in rectangular ducts heated from below. Thus, I need to use the "Nist-real-gas-model" in Fluent. However, I'm having some problems into obtain similar results adopting mesh grids optimized for y+ values in the range 30-300 and below 1. Furthermore, convergence for the finest grids (y+<1) is very difficult to be reached and a great number of nodes is needed. Has anyone tested similar problems?
Thank you
