Hello
I setup model :the flow around 15 cylinders (3d). I' m new fluent user, can anyone tell me how to set value of Area, Length,, in box "Reference value" to calculate Cd coefficient for 1 and many cylinders. I saw one document point that :Area =radius of cylinder * height of cylinder and Length = diameter of cylinder. it is right? thank you |

Hence I believe it is Area = diameter * height and length = diameter The reference lengths are rather arbitrary, if you have data/results to compare against then you should choose your reference values to match the same ones. |
