Opening boundary condition

Hi all,

My question is quite simple:
Is there an "Opening" BC in Fluent like in CFX? Because, I usually use the "pressure_outlet" to achive this condition (gauge pressure=0), but I'm not really sure if it is a correct solution.

The Opening BC in CFX is also a pressure outlet BC. Only difference is that it allows a reversed flow and does not close off faces which encounter a reversed flow (like the pressure outlet BC does in CFX)

Thanks Luke,

And, do you know if it exist a big difference between use pressure inlet or pressure outlet in this case?, because i saw people in the forum using pressure inlet, and i think it is not a good solution.

In which case? What are you trying to analyse?
In most cases a pressure inlet with a pressure outlet is the most stable BC combo
