Hello genius!!
First of all sorry for my mistakes... English is not my native language !!!

So, I have to simulate a can pasteurization and watch the thermal increase at the slow heat zone (shz)...My question is : what should I do in order to take the correct results (about the time of shz simulation) at Run Calculation option ?
How i choose the time step size (s) and the number of time steps ? I have read many tutorials but still I have doubts...My problem is transient 3-D, double precision, pressure – based, laminar flow, natural convection... Theoretically I need 2400s for the slow heat zone to get my desirable temperature.

Thanks a lot !!!

hi ,
you can start your simulation with a time step of 0.1 sec initially. then slowly increase to 0.2 and 0.5 sec ... once it is converging .

your total time i.e 2400 sec. initially u can give 5000 time steps.
