draw a line from two extreme point and place a point at the centre. Here is the description.

Lets say you have circle with points

------------- (x2, y2)

(x3, y3) ------------------- (x1, y1)

------------- (x4, y4)

Note that y1=y3= 0

Now go to vertex option. Use vertex on the edge. Make the y = 0 (twice) and you get vertices at x1 and x2).

Now create the edge by connecting vertex x1 and x2. Now select again point on edge and this time give u= 0.5 and you are done.

There is also another method to do the same thing. But it depends upon the situation that which method to use.

Thank you very much Far, for your reply....But I had some difficulty in assimilating what you said. I could not understand in which plane (XY, YZ OR ZX) have you considered the circle while expalining the procedure. If it is in XY OR YZ plane, I could not understand how 2 points on the circle have the points with thier ordinate zero. and if it is in ZX plane, i can understand that all the y's would be zero. Could you please give me clarity on this...Thanx a lot
