Hi all,
Given a circle, how can i find its centre vertex in GAMBIT? |

draw a line from two extreme point and place a point at the centre. Here is the description.
Lets say you have circle with points ------------- (x2, y2) (x3, y3) ------------------- (x1, y1) ------------- (x4, y4) Note that y1=y3= 0 Now go to vertex option. Use vertex on the edge. Make the y = 0 (twice) and you get vertices at x1 and x2). Now create the edge by connecting vertex x1 and x2. Now select again point on edge and this time give u= 0.5 and you are done. There is also another method to do the same thing. But it depends upon the situation that which method to use. |
