Hi Friends
I'm a Ph.D. student majoring in mechanical engineering, working on “Unsteady Conjugate Heat Transfer in reacting flow”.
I faced some questions about Fluent. I’d be so thankful if you could help me.
1. Does Fluent solve this problem (Unsteady Conjugate Heat Transfer in reacting flow)?
2. Which algorithms does Fluent use for conjugate heat transfer?

With Kind Regards

Hi Ali, I would suggest you should read the Fluent Manual. They have a full description of the way CHT was handled in Fluent. Critical I think is how the heat transfer coefficient is determined. Plus doing the tutorial on it might give you a good start. But u may not get a full CHT in Fluent since the solvers are not coupled I think.
