Microalgae mutiphase flow

Hi guys, I have problem with my tubular phobioreactor. I need to simulate the tubular photobioreactor with microalgal particles inside. But I don't know how to model it. Can you give me some idea to start or go to the right way.

What is the concentration of the particle? How many are there? How big are then? What are you looking to find out from the simulation?

What is the concentration of the particle?

about 100000 cell/ml

How big are then?
the diameter of microalgae is about 5 micrometer

What are you looking to find out from the simulation?
I want to look at the velocity profile, particles behavior and need to
calculate the pressure drop of the tubular photobioreactor. Then I will
design the new configuration that can reduce the pressure drop

Thank you for trying help me

If you are trying to model more than 100,000 cells, I would suggest that you use the Eulerian method. You should be able to find literature for modeling microspheres with the Eulerian method to help.

Thank you very much I will try your suggestion
