Hi all.
I solve 2 way FSI analysis (Fluent-Transient Structural analysis in Workbench R14) with large deformations of fluid mesh. I did the tutorial for system coupling. I ran my analysis with hexahedral mesh, but with some limits caused by large deformations (high distortion - solution failed). Please, does anyone have experience with a tetrahedral mesh in 2w FSI? I'm not able to run the analysis. Always with error: +================================================= ===================+ | NOTICE | | An exception has occurred and has been transmitted to the coupling | | participants. These participants have been disconnected from the | | coupling service. | +================================================= ===================+ +================================================= ===================+ | System Coupling Exception | +================================================= ===================+ | Origin : Fluid Flow (FLUENT) (Solution 1) | | Error Code : 2 | | Error Description : | | Fluent encountered fatal error after sync point Solve | +================================================= ===================+ Thank you. Regards, Katerina |
