Hi all,
is it possible to convert a wall boundary type to interior type??? when i import my mesh to fluent, the interfaces between parts will apear as wall!!!! |

If the meshes are conformal on both sides of the wall, it should be possible to change the boundary condition to "interior".
For nonconformal meshes, the only option would be an interface. |

If you are using Gambit, you should check that the volumes are connected by common faces. When they're not, Gambit creates wall BCs by default.
Fluent won't accept interior BC if the face is not linked to 2 fluid domains. The other option (if you don't want to go back to the meshing) is defining the faces as non conformal interfaces within Fluent. Marion. |

You need to set both faces that touch as interface, and then define a non conformal interface with them.
But I personnaly don't like non conformal interfaces, I think it is more accurate to get a clean mesh from Ansys meshing. |
