CFD post , average pressure
I've already finished my simulation. Next is to analyse my result, I want to look at the pressure drop so average pressure is require. How can I get it from CFD post?
I tried to read from the user guide but couldn't find. Thankyou |

Thank you very Much, Could you please explain to me briefly? I don't know how to make a plot. Sorry I'm newbie in CFD

You need a plane where you want to average pressure. If you don't have one already you have to make one using Location -> Plane.
Then you can use Function Calculator to ave the pressure at the plane. Pressure difference in two different location, obviously, is a pressure lost. By the way, you can do a similar thing inside Fluent as well. |

Cp=(P-P(infinity))/(0.5*density*V(infinity)^2); in your problem u have every thing except (P) so P-P(infinity) is pressure drop. good luck. |
