Propellant decomposition reaction

Hi.
I want to simulate the combustion of propellant in closed vessel. How can I do that using fluent?
I have tried by using multiphase flow (Mixture model), and for the reaction I tried the heterogeneous reaction (solid phase+ gas phase---->gas products). But the problem is: the real reaction is decomposition reaction, i.e., Solid----->gas products.

Hi

Your problem looks similar to my project..My problem statement includes the simulation of Li and SF6 combustion in an enclosed geometry (liquid + gas ---> solid products). I have used the eddy dissipation model for species transport and reaction, k-epsilon turbulence model and tried VOF, Eulerian model for multiphase. But later found out that VOF cannot be used for reacting flows. I would like to know the details of the models that You have used.
