Atomization Simulation
Hi All,
I am working on my graduate thesis and I would like some help please. I am running a simulation of a pressure swirl atomizer, the fluid is water and existing into air (also, running into high ambient temperature). Than I will be running the same analysis exiting into superheated steam (which is moving in the direction with the spray). My question is: 1. I know I should use a Discrete Phase model analysis, but, should I couple the analysis with another model? 2. Are there any examples (or a tutorials) on how to run this simulation in ANSYS? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you all for your attention. -Paul |

Hope that helps |
Does it make since to couple a DPM with a Multiphase model in the analysis where the spray is discharging into moving steam flow?
