discretization of domain by constant values in contours -- CFD Online Discussion Forums

faudiS8 New Member Fariborz Soroush Join Date: Oct 2009 Location: Tehran, Iran Posts: 14 Rep Power: 16	Hi every one I want to discretize my domain(a combustion chamber) by constant temperature lines and create areas. I need these areas for further analysis and need the input and output fluxes to them. I created some iso lines but when I want to report area(as a check point of area creation) I get 0 m^2!.... It's really hard for my geometry to start a new mesh{FYI I have to find many points and then change the geometry in gambit on their basis. it's really hard and time wasting...} Is there any way to discretize the domain on constant T lines?? Thanks for any suggestions.
