Porous jump boundary condition
Hi all,
I'm modelling a tidal turbine using the porous jump boundary condition. Does anyone know how to relate input parameters of the porous jump boundary condition (Face Permeability, Porous medium thickness and Pressurejump Coeff.) with thrust coefficient? The next figure shows centerline Ux velocities along the domain for different Pressurejump coeff. As the coeff. increases, velocity at disk decreases as expected, but downstream velocity recovers faster. Is this what I should expect? http://imageshack.us/a/img825/9454/uxvelocities.jpg
