CH4 Skeletal Mechanism

Greetings,

I would have a question concerning a methane-skeletal mechnism given in one of the tutorials.

The tutorial's name is "PDF Transport Simulation of Sandia Flame". Here a 16 species, 41 reaction mechanism for non-premixed methane combustion is used.

This mechanism apparently performs well (compared to GriMech 3), but all validations I found were under atmospheric conditions*. Yet my application in slightly pressurized (3.4bar).

So here comes the question: Has anybody used this mechanism under pressurized conditions and could possibly validate its behaviour?

Thanks in advance.

Best regards,

Bane

*The model seems to be based upon "Numerical modeling of turbulent natural-gas diffusion flames" by Peeters.
